Securing Our Vision: The $6.4M Seed Funding Milestone

I am thrilled to announce a pivotal milestone in TestifySec's journey - a successful $6.4 million seed funding round championed by Mucker Capital, with robust support from Dreamit and Jefferies Family Office. This isn't just a financial endorsement; it’s fuel to our enduring commitment towards advancing software supply chain security.

The inception of TestifySec stemmed from a blend of necessity and passion. My 12-year service in the U.S. Army, followed by a transition to software development and DevOps within the intelligence community, alongside my co-founder and CTO, Mikhail Swift, unveiled industry-wide challenges. These hurdles weren't just ours; they resonated across the DoD, major financial institutions, and critical infrastructure providers, laying the cornerstone for TestifySec.

Over the past five years, as the security around production infrastructure has tightened, the software supply chain has inadvertently showcased itself as a soft target for adversaries. This shift not only underscores the need for greater visibility but also amplifies an urgent call for robust enforcement and mitigation measures.

The rising adoption of in-toto attestations signals a positive shift in the landscape. Born from this momentum, our open-source tool, Witness, facilitates end-to-end metadata capture and verification at every production step, fostering enhanced transparency, accountability, and security.

Following this trajectory, we introduced Archivista, another open-source project designed to manage the burgeoning challenges tied to attestations' management and distribution. This tool enables the enforcement of robust, secure supply chain policies.

Our engagements stretch beyond service provision to a dedicated partnership with the defense, banking, and critical infrastructure sectors. Our alliances with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Navy's, and partners such as GitLab and SUSE echo our deep-seated commitment to solving supply chain security and compliance for all sectors and platforms.

As we march into the upcoming year, the unveiling of our Judge platform is at the forefront. Building on Witness and Archivista's security and data models, Judge aims to significantly cut back expenses traditionally associated with secure supply chain initiatives, offering an integrated, verifiable supply chain security solution.

This funding round is more than a financial catalyst; it's a promise to our customers, a solid partnership with our investors, and a monumental step towards a secure digital frontier.

Warm regards,
